Los Dos wines

Covering two Spanish garnacha wines, the name "Los Dos" referred to a technical issue that the brand owner, Winebow Group, an important distributor in the US market, no longer wanted to reflect, although the name was to be maintained since it was well rooted in the market. The project sought to revitalize and give greater interest, modernity and quality perception to wines that represent a considerable volume of Winebow's portfolio of Latin wines.

Though the regular sequence is for a defined concept to lead to a name and an image, maintaining the name meant proceeding in reverse: identifying a concept and an image that fit it. The key was to think of the target profile, American young adults, and their occasional consumption of wine as a key social lubricant.

Everything aimed to find a suitable emotional tone to express the role that wine acquires when celebrating a good moment and sharing the enjoyment of life. To convey such a good feeling, "Los Dos" shows a colourful illustration of an embraced couple dancing in a birds-eye view. A gentle and lively image such as the quote from the Spanish poet Federico García Lorca which reflects this attitude: “Turn down sadness and melancholy. Life is kind, it has few days and just now we have to enjoy it”.
